Yasmine supports children and adolescents across issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, interpersonal relationship concerns, perfectionism, body-image issues, trauma, grief, anger management, and adverse childhood experiences. Additionally, Yasmine offers comprehensive support to parents of and children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other neurodiverse conditions, equipping both child and parents with essential skills

Drawing from her extensive corporate experience as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counsellor for prominent companies like AIA and Lockton, Yasmine is well-versed in addressing the pressures of the modern workplace. Across both online and offline counselling settings, she has addressed issues such as stress, burnout, grief, interpersonal conflicts, career uncertainty, trauma, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, imposter syndrome, life transition issues, and self-esteem.
Therapeutic Approach
Yasmine adopts a client-centred approach, and her therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. She is passionate about fostering a safe and collaborative partnership with her clients. She firmly believes in each individual’s innate capacity for growth and empowers her clients through education by incorporating neuroscience research, practical resources and evidence-based practices (e.g., mindfulness and gratitude exercises) in her counselling sessions. With Yasmine’s guidance, her clients have developed greater self-awareness about their past and current patterns of behaviour, broken unhelpful patterns and found greater fulfilment in their lives.
As a Health Promotion Board (HPB) approved mental health trainer for corporations, Yasmine frequently conducts workshops for major corporations such as HSBC, Rolls Royce, and Kimberly-Clark. She teaches concepts such as Positive Psychology, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, among others. She also develops training curricula for institutions like A Star, Samaritans of Singapore and the Social Service Institute, demonstrating her commitment to advancing mental health awareness and education.
Background
Yasmine graduated from the National University of Singapore and Monash University in Australia. Her previous work experiences include counselling individuals and groups in emergency and high-risk situations at prison and community settings, where she honed her skills in crisis mental health intervention and risk management. She also previously worked in marketing and brand management, where she gained first-hand appreciation of corporate dynamics and its impact on mental health.
In her free time, she enjoys SCUBA diving, baking, developing fragrances, and travelling. She believes that visiting grocery stores overseas is a true cultural experience and loves seeking out the best bites around the world
