Werner is a clinical psychologist from Norway who is registered with the Norwegian Psychology Association and is certified to practice in Europe. As a psychologist, he has extensive experience working in the public healthcare of Norway, primarily with marginalized adolescents and families in crisis. Werner’s clinical style is client-centred, in which promoting the autonomy and integrity of the client are paramount. The therapeutic approach is flexibly tailored to the unique narrative, resources, needs, and goals of the client. He employs perspectives and therapeutic interventions from third wave Cognitive behavioural therapy approaches of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT).
Werner recently relocated to Singapore together with his Taiwanese girlfriend and miniature dachshund. During his free time, he loves to immerse himself in the local culture and history, and he is an avid climber that can be spotted in the many indoor bouldering gyms of Singapore.
