Experience
Nina trained in the UK and has a long work experience which includes 19 years in the NHS. She has worked with a range of clients, children, teens and adults in a variety of settings; clinics, school, hospitals. Before entering private practice she designed and ran three services for families with complex mental health difficulties. Since coming to Singapore, she worked as an Adjunct Associate at the National University of Singapore on the Masters of Clinical Psychology Programme for two years. This involved supervising trainees work in local clinics. This work has helped her to develop an understanding of some of the issues facing Singaporeans.
Therapeutic Approach
Nina has a range of models for different issues and people including CBT, ACT, Schema and EMDR. Nina can treat a variety of difficulties ranging from mood, trauma and relationship challenges.
Background
Nina is a parent of five children and grandparent of one (who are far from perfect) and she doesn’t hold with perfect parenting theories. She believes a little humour and self-kindness go a long way.
