Therapeutic Approach and Experience
Mint works with children, adolescents, and their families to support behavioural, communication, and developmental needs. This includes children with ADHD, autism, and behavioural challenges. She guides parents, caregivers, and school teams in supporting children both at home and in educational settings. Mint is a US-trained, Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) who uses evidence-based approaches to support children’s development, communication, and independence. She has worked across private preschools, public school special education classrooms, and clinic- and home-based settings, designing and delivering individualised programmes in both one-to-one and group settings.
Mint works with children and teenagers across a wide range of skill levels and needs, from those developing social and play skills to support successful integration into mainstream classrooms, to those presenting with more complex behaviours such as aggression, running off, or self-injurious behaviour. She conducts comprehensive assessments to understand each child’s strengths, needs, and the factors contributing to their behaviour. She then develops individualised, evidence-based intervention programmes, using proactive strategies that address the underlying causes of behaviour while continually monitoring and adapting goals as each child progresses.
Mint has worked closely with teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists as part of multidisciplinary teams, supporting children across home and school settings. She has also led and contributed to multidisciplinary and school planning meetings, helping ensure each child’s support plan reflects meaningful collaboration between school, clinical, and family teams.
She is passionate about empowering the people who support children every day and has delivered parent and staff training to promote the learning of skills across home and school. Mint has also completed specialised training in supervision and in managing more complex behaviours and is qualified to provide supervision and mentorship to those pursuing training in behaviour analysis.

Mint comes from a multicultural background. Although ethnically Chinese, she is Thai, with family roots in Singapore and Indonesia. She was born and raised in Bangkok before moving to the U.S. at 14 to continue her education, later completing both her undergraduate and graduate studies at Columbia University in New York.
Having lived and studied across several countries, Mint enjoys working with both local and expatriate families. Outside of work, she enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with family and friends, and watching both old and new movies.
