Therapeutic Approach
Maria has experience in working with children with neurodiversity focused her work on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She uses both play based approaches and DIR/Floor-time (Developmental Individual Difference Relationship based model) for children and their families.
She believes that building significant relationships are key to promoting a child’s development. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) trained and uses this to focus on helping children and adolescents with anxiety, depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Maria has experience of using Family Systems Therapy to support parents and adults within the families she works with.
Maria is trained in EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) for treating trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Maria is a psychologist who trained in Argentina and has been in private practice for 8 years. She has moved from working as a Mental Health Licensed Counsellor in New York where she has a range of experience from working with neurodiversity to treating anxiety, depression, OCD, grief and trauma. She has an integrative approach.
Personal Background
Maria grew up in Argentina and for the last 6 years has lived and worked in New York City. She has currently relocated to Singapore and is looking forward to let her curiosity explore what the country has to offer.
