Training and Clinical Experience
Marcia works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Her therapeutic approach is primarily person-centred, while integrating elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
She has experience supporting children and adolescents through a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental concerns, including mood difficulties, neurodiversity, friendship and behavioural challenges, learning difficulties, identity exploration, and support around gender identity exploration. Marcia incorporates expressive and creative methods, including play-based approaches, to help younger clients feel safe, engaged, and understood in the therapeutic process. Highly creative by nature, she brings this lens into her work with children, using imaginative and developmentally appropriate approaches to make therapy engaging, accessible, and meaningful.
With adults, Marcia supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. She works collaboratively with clients to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns while supporting them in living more fully in alignment with their values.
Marcia has a particular interest in self-discovery, emotional growth, and helping individuals create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.

Outside of her professional life, Marcia enjoys DJing, cooking, playing tennis, reading, and spending time with her two cats.
