Therapeutic Approach
Aimee works with children and teenagers, helping them understand their emotions, develop regulation skills, and build resilience in the face of everyday challenges. Drawing on frameworks such as the Zones of Regulation and Social Thinking, she supports their social and emotional learning. Aimee helps her young clients manage difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, and navigating friendships, and she empathises with the pressures children and teens often face at school and home. She has experience working with neurodivergent presentations such as ADHD and autism. In addition, Aimee provides parenting support.
Aimee also supports adults navigating stress, anxiety, depression, and/or other life challenges. She understands the complexities of balancing parenting, work, and personal wellbeing, and offers a supportive space to explore these dynamics. Her therapeutic approach draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based strategies, working collaboratively with clients to create meaningful change.
Background

Originally from South Africa, she has lived in Singapore since 2012. Married with two young children, Aimee understands firsthand the nuances of working and raising a family whilst living away from a ‘home’ network.
